Include the essentials
Typical cards may include employee photo, name, employee ID, department, company name and contact information. Add only information appropriate for the intended use.
Prioritize readability
Use clear type sizes, sufficient contrast and consistent alignment. Avoid filling every available space.
Prepare the photo carefully
Use a clear, properly cropped image with consistent framing across employee cards.
Plan front and back
If the card has a back side, reserve it for secondary information such as emergency contact instructions, terms or verification details.
Test a physical sample
A card viewed on a large monitor can look very different at wallet size. Print a sample before producing a large batch.
4PASS tip: Always confirm product-specific specifications such as trim, bleed, paper, finishing and color requirements with your printer before final export.
