How to Prepare Artwork for Printing
A simple pre-print checklist can prevent common size, text and image problems.
Confirm the final physical dimensions before exporting the artwork. If the print will be installed in a specific location, measure the available space and communicate those measurements clearly.
Consider the use case
Review all text for spelling, phone numbers, addresses and pricing. Check that important information is not too close to the edge. Images should look appropriate at the intended output size; a picture that looks sharp on a phone screen may not produce the same result when enlarged.
Check the details before printing
Finally, tell the printer what the file is for and what material you expect to use. If you are unsure about the technical setup, share the artwork and job specifications for review before production.
