Visiting Cards: What Information Should You Include?
A good visiting card should make it easy for someone to understand who you are and how to contact you.
Start with the essentials: your name, role or business name, phone number and a professional email address. If location matters to customers, include the business address or service area. A website or relevant social profile can be added when it provides useful information.
Consider the use case
Keep the hierarchy clear. The business or personal name should be easy to find, while secondary information should remain readable at normal viewing distance. Avoid filling the card with unnecessary text or too many competing visual elements.
Check the details before printing
Before printing, check every phone number, email address, spelling and website address. A small proofreading step can prevent a large batch of cards from carrying incorrect information.
